Aiyana Reissman is a marine ecologist with over 15 years of experience working with California's native wildlife. She holds a Master's in Ocean Sciences from the University of San Diego, where her research focused on the population dynamics of light-footed Ridgway's rails. She has worked with the light-footed Ridgway's rail propagation program since 2017. In addition to her extensive work with birds, she is the founder of the West Coast Sea Turtle Society, a nonprofit focused on sea turtle conservation. Aiyana is passionate about bringing communities together to conserve our wild spaces and shared natural resources through collaboration and advocacy.
