John Martin
John has been living and birding in San Diego since 1997, spending most of that duration as Wildlife Biologist at San Diego National Wildlife Refuge, working to ensure the persistence of many of San Diego's endangered, threatened, and otherwise rare species. Now retired from the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service, he teaches beginning birding classes and leads field trips with the San Diego Bird Alliance, and maintains a constant vigil to increase his yard list.
