Trip Leader: Ian Swirka

I am a life-long birder and East Cost transplant that stumbled into one of the best birding communities in the country and am here to stay. I have served on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Famosa Slough where I still lead monthly outings, and volunteer regularly with San Diego Bird Alliance. Recently, I have noticed that sharing birds and birding with others (especially my boys!) - even more than birding itself - is what really fills my cup.
